We remain so unaware of the power of our words, and utter them without giving an ounce of thought and we end up hurting someone’s feelings.

Cyberbullying is a widespread problem today. Cyberbullying is bullying that is prevalent on digital devices like cell phones, computers etc.

This is mostly done on social media platforms. A lot of people are now being a victim of this.

I’m a 13-year-old who completely understands that making brusque comments and making fun of someone’s appearance isn’t acceptable.

Calling someone names might make you feel good about yourself for a few seconds but I hope you realize that it’ll never solve your problems for good. And it ends up ruining someone else’s day too!

Imagine somebody out there genuinely believes he’s a loser just because of you, because of a joke, a meme, a comment you made just to look cool in-front of your followers, but not everyone’s born with a thick skin & not everyone can withstand the harsh criticism.

I myself have seen a lot of comments on social media like “You’re ugly!” and “What an idiot you are!” Guys, just think, are these the things to say to someone on their face and that too on social forums, where everyone can see it? Please don’t be the reason behind an artist having to think a 100 times before displaying their art or expressing themselves. How can people be as hard as nails? Be kind to everyone. And if you feel like writing mean things about someone, just don’t! You never know what someone is going through and how your words will affect them.

And never forget this, that no matter what they do or say, don’t you dare doubt your worth or the beauty of your truth. Just keep shining like you do!

The Outstanding Blogger Award!

SID nominated me for this one! Her blog is really nice and you need to go check it out! Thank you so much, SID.

Thank you for nominating me!

Hi, I’m a 13-year-old!

  1. Provide the link to the creatorโ€™s original award post (Colton Beckwith RPC)
  2. Answer the questions provided.
  3. Create 7 unique questions.
  4. Nominate 10 bloggers.
  5. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the awardโ€™s creator nor the blogger that nominated you can be nominated.
  6. At the end of 2021, every blog that ping-backs the creatorโ€™s original post will be entered to win the 2021 Outstanding Blogger award questions.

Time to answer the questions!

  1. With whom do share your most embarrassing moments/secrets ? ๐Ÿ˜…

I share my secrets with my Mom or my best friend because these are the people I can trust the most! I also have a diary, some secrets are just about me which I am sometimes not comfortable sharing with anyone. So I write. ๐Ÿค

2. Do you like cleaning your room? ๐Ÿ˜†

I would like to confess that I am not a cleanliness-freak and my room is even filthy sometimes, but (usually) it’s tidy. But specially during exam time when I really need to focus, I want my environment tidy. (So you can say I become a cleanliness-freak during exam-period ๐Ÿ˜‚)

3. What type of stories do you like reading? (eg. fantasy, mythology)

I like reading fiction/thriller books (like Harry Potter) and non-fiction books (like Think Like A Monk, by Jay Shetty).

4. If you would start up a bakery, what would you call it? ๐ŸŽ‚

As awfully obvious it sounds, if I ever had a bakery I would name it “Geet’s Bakery” ๐Ÿ˜…

5. When you hear the word โ€œfoodโ€, which food comes to your mind first?

Rajma Chawal! Kadhi Chawal! These are the top 2 Indian dishes that I love. Yes, Indian cuisine if my favourite. ๐Ÿ’—

6. Do you like collecting a particular object? (like sea shells or stamps)

Yes! I LOOOVE collecting MEMORIES! I write all the happy or sad memories in my diary so I can refer them back when I’m old, it will be amazing to look back and read about how I felt at that particular point in time long back. So yes, I love collecting MEMORIES!

7. A country that you would really love to visit! โœˆ

I can’t name a specific country which I want to visit. But I really want to visit the WIMBLEDON stadium! I know it’s not a country but it’s still a Tennis Stadium, located in UK. Anyway, I really want to visit WIMBLEDON TENNIS STADUIM, the biggest Tennis championship is held there. My Papa has been there in 2019 and described amazing stories about what he saw and how he felt when he was taking a tour of that place. I am really into TENNIS! (Any Tennis lovers out there? ๐Ÿ˜‰) So I would love to visit WIMBLEDON if I ever get a chance to do so!

Thank you for nominating me, SID. The questions were pretty interesting! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Gratitude ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.”

Iโ€™m pretty sure that there is a wonderful thing that happened to you this morning. Maybe the sun cheered you up after long rainy days. Or, maybe someone prepared your breakfast this morning and it was a surprise. You should always be thankful for these kind of things.

Sometimes, itโ€™s easier to focus on what we donโ€™t have, rather than what we do have. Itโ€™s important to take time out and remember all of the things to be thankful for that many of us take for granted.

“Gratitude opens the door to…the power, the wisdom, the creativity of the universe. You open the door through gratitude.”

Hey, I’m a 13-year-old!

And I’ve noticed that the more grateful I am, the more beauty I see.

The Key to Health, Happiness, and Success is Gratitude

I’m grateful for so many things!

Some of them are:

  • Good Health
  • My Family
  • My Home
  • Good Friends
  • Learning from mistakes
  • An opportunity to get an education and (last but not the least)

That’s not enough, actually! I am grateful for so many more things that it would take me ages to write them here!

This pandemic has taught me what gratitude actually means. Most of the times I was cribbing about the things I didn’t have, but when this pandemic started I couldn’t even go anywhere and buy something I like! Then I started to respect all the things I had, instead of cribbing for things I didn’t. Gratitude is one of the best medicines, I believe. It heals your mind, your body and your spirit and attracts more things to be grateful for.

It’s definitely writing. It’s not very hard to write but it has all our feelings, I believe.

2. If you could only wear one color for the rest of your life, what color would that be?

BLACK! I love black because it’s like my cup of tea, I look nice in it and also it’s very slimming ๐Ÿ˜

3. If you could create an album of your favorite musical artists, whatโ€™s one duet/collaboration youโ€™d love to hear and what vibe would it be?

I loooove listening Laura Marano and Ross Lynch sing together! Well yeah, that’s it. ๐Ÿ˜‚

4. What is one underrated song you think others should give a chance?

I have no idea if it’s underrated, but I absolutely love Astronaut In The Ocean!

โ€œThereโ€™s no place like homeโ€. We all know the feeling., after that long trip away, when you finally get to climb in to your own familiar bed.

I love my home!

Hey there, I’m a 13-year-old

Home is where our story begins, the place where we grow up, under the supervision of our parents and the supportive nature of our siblings and grandparents, it is the place where memories are created and families are bonded. It is not a place, but a feeling, emotion, something which is close to your heart, something where you would like to end your day after a hectic & a stressful day. It is not only a structure made of brick, stones, etc. but something which is standing strongly on hopes, dreams, hard-work and efforts.

45 Best Home Quotes - Beautiful Sayings About Home Sweet Home

My home is situated in Noida, a satellite town near Delhi in Uttar Pradesh, India. A very fast moving place, yet I love it. I live in an apartment and it is not a very large one, yet it has all the joy and happiness that I could ever dream of. We are a family of 6 who stay together in our home, me, my father, my mother, my younger sister and the best part…. my grandparents!

No matter where I go, there’s no place like home!

There is so much of fun and joy at my home. Though we fight for small things, my parents make us realize about all the good things in life and we try understanding them. My grandparents tell me interesting stories of the time when they were kids! And our home kept us safe where we stayed to avoid social contact during this pandemic ๐Ÿ™‚

My home is sweet and as we see it, it is really โ€œHome Sweet Homeโ€. As the saying goes โ€œA house is built by hands, but a home is built by heartsโ€, our home is also built by hearts. A warm, welcoming and loving place is what my home is.

Good Times Will Come ๐Ÿ˜Š

“Good times will come,

bad times will go.

Life in the pond of happiness

will again go with flow!” ๐Ÿ˜Š

I’m a 13 year old

Trust God and believe in good things to come. Good Times are coming. Have patience โ™ฅ

I remember how fun I had in school with my friends. I remember how much fun I had in travelling. I remember how much fun I had in shopping with my friends and family! Ah, I wish I could go back to that time and relive those moments. I just wish I had a time-machine, like Doraemon ๐Ÿ˜‚

Sometimes I start to tear up when I remember these moments with my friends and family… I am sure you miss the fun moments you too had before the pandemic!

But let’s not lose hope and always remember that “Life is a circle of happiness, sadness, hard times and good times. If you are going through hard times have faith that good times are on the way.”

During these tough times,

Letโ€™s just be there.

For our family.

For our friends.

For all the ones we love.

For all the ones who need our help.

For ourselves.

Letโ€™s not make it tougher for ourselves and just wait for the good times to come.
